The success of a quick coupling system

The success of the company Wimmer is inseparably combined with the invention of the hydraulic quick coupling system A-Lock. In 1984 Alois Wimmer recognized the advantages of hydraulic couplers and founded his “Concept for hydraulic excavators” on his invention, the quick coupling system A-Lock. In summer 2008 the 5000^th unit of the successful coupler was delivered, the official handover to the customer took place in Paris on November 4^th. The model was an A-Lock Oilmatic, the most modern model of the A-Lock couplers. To demonstrate the quantity of 5000 pieces, a “treasure chest” was filled with 5000 Mozart balls and handed out to the client, the company Brunel, as a present.
