New additional tool for wood-grapple

Hydraulic powered saw is a successful complement

Since about two years Wimmer manufactures the pipe- and woodgrapple „Octopus“ serially. This special grapple enjoys growing popularity in companies, which are active in forestry business environment in the last year. So it was a logical consequence to offer an additional tool, which can shorten the boles to required length. This idea was born in summer 2007: A hydraulic powered sword in the style of a motor saw was adapted to the Lobster. The first promising tests were carried out in mid of September. It is estimated, that this product will be clear for sale in the next weeks.
