Oilmatic in action on the "Buergeralm"

Product demonstration for Styrian engineers

The full automatic quick coupling system A-Lock Oilmatic is one of the most revolutionary products for excavation companies in the last years. To show the Oilmatic function in real work to interested engineers and users from Styria, Wimmer organized a demonstration on the “Bürgeralm” near Aflenz. A trench for a water pipe with a length of several kilometres must be made. The work was started with one excavator and following attachments: Bucket, tilt bucket, separator bucket, cutter and compactor. During the demonstrations the tools had to be changed in an interval of about 5 minutes. On a distance of about 40 meters the excavation of the trench, compacting of the floor, screening of the excavation material, filling the ditch and finally compacting the filling material was done nearly synchronous. The quick and unproblematic tool change makes it possible, to carry out the project as a “wandering building site”. Not only the financial saving possibilities convinced the audience. There also was the fact, that 30 minutes after digging the trench you were able to drive with cars on it again. This was a big plus for Wimmer´s Oilmatic system.
