New scrap jaw successfully tested

Styrian company cuts steel tanks

Since nearly six years Wimmer produces demolition shears with a scrap metal jaw. In 2006 this scrap jaw was updated and relaunched. The main focus lies on the possibility for the customer, to change all wear parts by himself quickly and without any problems. The edge at the inner leg is made from one single part. Due to the fact that at the edges towards the pivotal point the wear is less, the edge can be turned 180°, hence you will have the double lifespan. At the front of the jaw there is a cross cutting edge, therefore the cut is in U-form. The “premiere” of the new jaw was on January 29th , 2007 near Spielfeld in Styria. The company “Reichl” is going to cut steel tanks with this new attachment. The first test run was excellent, the jaw could fulfil all expectations of the producer and of the customer.
