„Wirtschaftsblatt“, the most famous business newspaper in Austria, has a main focus on family businesses since six years. Every spring a conference takes place, in which the advantages, but also the special problems of family businesses are treated in lectures and discussed by the audience. The highlight is the disposition of selected companies with the awards “Best family business in Austria” respectively “Best family business of the federal district”. The jury, consisting of top class economy specialists (the minister for economy, Dr. Martin Bartenstein, was one of the members) evaluates the companies. The facts were convincing: Wimmer Hartstahl, a pure family business, successfully acts in the branch of excavator equipment and rockdrills since 22 years, providing a wide range of products. To break new ground by innovation and research, never to remain in the Status Quo, the maxim “nothing is impossible” is part of our philosophy, as well as the product related “Quality without Compromise”.
Wimmer Hartstahl is an international company, working with pleasure and enthusiasm, highly qualified and motivated employees on it´s side. An enormous potential for the future is our credit.
With Andreas – the son of the founders – the second generation is “on board” since 5 years. He is responsible for the subsidiary company WIMMER Canada and anxious to sell our High-Tech products in the USA and many other countries in the world.
On May 10th, the Wimmer family gladly accepted the award “Best family business of Salzburg” in the museum for applied arts in Vienna.
